I wanted to reveal the humanity behind the uniform; especially for women, for whom the challenge is even greater. What the painting does not show are the sacrifices, the endurance, and the quiet strength required to protect our lives and our freedoms.

How does she reconcile two lives: the life of a soldier and the life of a mother? The baby embodies life and the future, while the uniform symbolizes duty and the ever-present shadow of risk and death. Too often, these women are forgotten, misunderstood, or even judged. Yet in truth, they are modern heroes: humble individuals who risk everything for the safety of others, while striving, like all of us, to build a life filled with love and happiness in parallel.
